Frears to helm 'Bengali Detective'
FrearsBrit helmer Stephen Frears and scribe D.V. DeVincentis, who formerly teamed on "High Fidelity" and "Lay the widely used,In . are likely to interact once again, since the duo are likely to correspondingly direct and write Fox Searchlight's British-language feature adaptation of documentary "The Bengali Detective."Philip Cox directed the first. Native Voice Films' docu adopted wise private agent Rajesh Ji while he explores Calcutta's criminal underworld while pursuing his dream to bop on Indian TV. Film needed a review of modern India using the eyes from the unlikely hero.Ridley and Tony Scott's Scott Free banner will produce.
